The dual Breeders' Cup race winners list is very short, Miesque with two victories in the Mile, Bayakoa with two victories in the Distaff, Lure with two victories in the Mile as well as a 9th place finish in his last try there, Da Hoss with two victories in the Mile plus a 13th place finish in the Sprint, and Tiznow with two victories in the Classic. There are quite a few more with one hit and one or more near misses. Here is a list of the horses with one win and a 4th place or better finish to go with it.

Surprisingly there have been very few winners who go on to have winning offspring, only eight stallions and three mares. There are two families that Breeders' Cup winners seem to run in with Unbridled starting a three generation win streak as a sire and Personal Ensign starting another three generation streak as a broodmare.
